We’re almost done in June. Last week, I celebrated my birthday with a few friends. Another year in France, and it wasn’t over yet. Last year, I was looking forward to spend my birthday with my family but of course, we know what 2020 meant to everyone.
Anyway, I haven’t been writing here for a long time because of so much work in the office, plus my weekends are usually spent with friends and I didn’t have the time to blog. Most of the time, I spent my rest days reading as it was more relaxing. Last Friday, I went to Éze, and it was an opportunity for me to blog about my experience during my first time to travel a bit further since the pandemic happened. Even though I am vaccinated, we’re still not out of the woods yet. Knowing that many people here do not believe in vaccines, I’d rather be on the safe side and be more cautious so I don’t travel that far yet – although I have a planned trip to Paris soon for a rendezvous at my embassy. It’s something that I must do. I considered my trip to Éze as a practice for my train ride to Paris, and I look forward to it. Hopefully, things will truly get better by then.
Currently
Reading. A romance novel book. Because duh, of course. I love reading them 😀
Writing. None at the moment.
Listening. The sound of my AC. It’s really warm here right now, summer has fully kicked in, and I can’t stand the heat. Also, no more curfew and I can now hear a few cars passing by every now and then at night.
Smelling. The smell of my French dictionary. I was just finished studying for my class tomorrow.
Wishing. For this pandemic to be over. That everything will be fine soon.
Hoping. To be able to finish my project at work with good feedback. It’s one of the reasons I’m not blogging, too. My mind is very occupied with this.
Wearing. red duster.
Loving. The pork ribs I baked last night. I made an experiment on the spices that I spread all over it before putting it in the oven. It’s not perfect yet, so I will try another trick next time, then I will share with you.
Needing. Water. More water. It’s summer plus, it’s healthier.
Feeling. Sleepy, I guess.
