The Sunday Currently

I don’t know if I will be able to continue with this series of The Sunday Currently. Depending on how you look at it, Sunday is either the start or end of the week. For me, it’s the end of a week/weekend, and today, I started my morning by attending the online streaming of the Catholic mass officiated by H.E. Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle in Rome.

I planned to go to Nice to explore the shops but I feel lazy going out in the hot weather, plus some of the shops that I want to go are closed today. So I decided to focus more on my blog by posting some travel stuff and scheduling some short stories that I wrote a few years ago.

Currently

Reading. A paperback I bought from Harlequin, a compilation of contemporary stories.

Writing. I set aside the novel that I am writing right now, until I am settled with the problem of my AC. It’s so hot here in the south of France this week, and I could not concentrate on writing.

Listening. Listening to a video post from one of my favorite pages, Ima Survivor Donkey and Farm Animal Sanctuary It’s a page about the animal sanctuary in Texas run by a family, and every day, they have videos of their (mis)adventures of the animals in their farm. I love this page and I always look forward to those posts every day. 🙂

Smelling. Hahaha. This is ridiculous, but I’m smelling the newly-cooked rice right now and I’m ready for my lunch!

Wishing. For this pandemic to end. Too much pain for the families and medical professionals already. And lots of suffering for the others who are affected in some way.

Hoping. For something lovely and good this week that will make me smile. I don’t know. Surprise me. 🙂

Wearing. House clothes. Cool enough for this very hot weather.

Loving. The conversation I had with my youngest sister yesterday. I had lots of insights, realizations, and made me appreciate her more.

Needing. Conversations. I need more of it, opening myself up, feeling all the emotions. It’s liberating.

Feeling. Hot. Because of the weather.

I need to log off for now, and cool off.
